McCarson Raps Julian for 5 Hits
Monday, July 1st , 2024
5 times is the charm -- at least for Ed McCarson.
The Aurora Paints right fielder tore up the Julian Jammers to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Paints Park. The offensive onslaught from McCarson powered the 24-1 Paints win.
"McCarson was a tough out," Julian manager Cameron Pabst said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Ed McCarson doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 7th.
Thus far this year, McCarson has hit .314 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs.
