5-Hit Game for Brown Sunday, June 23rd , 2024 Eric Brown was sizzling at the plate. The St. Joseph catcher blistered the Tacoma Thunder Wolves for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 20-12. "Brown was too tough to get out today," Thunder Wolves skipper Alfonso Estrada said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Eric Brown doubled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
