The Waco Warlocks had to overcome a big game from Medford center fielder Jeff Knisley to leave Warlocks Grounds with a victory. And they did, winning, 5-4, in 13 innings. Knisley went 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. The win belonged to Mario Acosta in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Danny Garcia took the loss for Medford. The third-place Warlocks improved to 43-53.

The Warlocks got a clutch hit from designated hitter Dylan Phillips. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Warlocks.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Phillips said.
