Perez Goes on Rampage Against Miners Monday, June 23rd , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Jerry Perez of the Anaheim Music. Perez went on a tear at Miners Ballpark and cracked hit after hit off Carson City pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 21-year-old first baseman had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Perez's personal accolades, the Carson City Miners walked off the field with the 6-2 win.
