Tacoma Helpless Against Kretzer, Lose 20-0 Sunday, June 28th , 2026 In a remarkable performance, Providence Hex starter Eric Kretzer beat the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, 20-0, in an impressive 7-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Hex hurler finished with 8 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Tacoma manager Alfonso Estrada said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
