He easily handled Naturals pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Jammers triumph, 12-10, at Jammers Park. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Fields's quip, Naturals skipper Nick Kendrick said he "would take him up on that next time." Jonathan Fields singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jose Chavez in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jaden Cornelius in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
