Prater Slaps 5 Hits Friday, June 7th , 2024 Kevin Prater was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Air Riders Ballpark, the Spring Park left fielder blistered the South Pasadena Air Riders for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 11-7 victory. "Prater was too tough to get out," Air Riders skipper Nate West said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Kevin Prater singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This year, Prater is batting .368 with 9 home runs.
