Ortiz on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Julian Wednesday, June 5th , 2024 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Andrew Ortiz -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Chanticleers Ballpark and paced the 21-12 Unicorns win over the Julian Jammers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Newport first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."
