Martinez gets 5 RBI in Little Rock Win
|
The Little Rock Golden Gophers powered past the Aurora Paints, 9-3, at Little Rock Grounds. Tony Martinez provided some of the pop. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Little Rock has now won 3 in a row.
Martinez had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a 2-run triple. The Golden Gophers went on to win.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Martinez told the Little Rock Observer.
