The Julian Jammers beat the Waco Warlocks, 8-5, at Warlocks Grounds. Julian shortstop Edwin Retana banged out 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. The Jammers now own a record of 24-55.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Retana delivered big-time for Julian, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Dennis DeLong. The game-changing hit put the Jammers on top, 7-5.

"I know we have our doubters," said Waco manager Mike Schwartz. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
