May Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Saturday, April 26th , 2025 Jeff May made league history at Chanticleers Ballpark, when he hit for the cycle and added his name to the record books. The Tacoma Thunder Wolves took a little gloss off his shine, however, when they grabbed a win, 8-6, versus the Newport Unicorns. For the day, May went 4-for-6 with 4 runs batted in and 1 run scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," May said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me. The ball seemed that big to me. And it just floated in." Jeff May hit a two-run triple in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
