The manager of the Chattahoochee Valley Community College Pirates said he thinks Brian Miller is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2012 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .424 batting average and a .523 on-base percentage this year. In 50 games he piled up 84 hits, 15 doubles, 1 triple, 22 home runs, 69 RBIs and 62 runs scored.
He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Zachary Emling of the Santa Fe College Saints finished second in voting, while Billy Foxworthy of the Santa Fe College Saints finished third.
