Mendez 5-for-5 Against Coyotes Monday, March 23rd , 2026 Central Arizona College Vaqueros right fielder Corey Mendez had the hot hand in the game against the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes at McSwain Field. He scorched College of Southern Nevada hurlers for 5 hits as the Vaqueros raced to a speedy 4-0 victory. "That's what I call a good day: 5 hits and finished early enough to go out on the town," he said in postgame comments to reporters. "Wait, Coach didn't hear that, right?" Corey Mendez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
