Lenger Goes 5-for-7 Tuesday, April 30th , 2024 Ron Lenger had an answer for everything the Plymouth Rockers threw at him at Madison Grounds. The Tiverton left fielder went 5-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Colonels a win, 24-5. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Lenger said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Ron Lenger doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
