Donnelly Gone for Season in Buffalo
Sunday, May 29th , 2022
When Buffalo reliever Tom Donnelly was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Bellflowers-Torpedoes game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Donnelly had sustained a stretched elbow ligament and will be out for about 10 months.
This season, Donnelly has logged no saves. He has thrown 18.1 innings, dished out 16 strikeouts and walked 13 while putting up a 2-1 mark and a 6.38 ERA.
