Texans Morales Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, April 9th , 2022 Alex Morales really sizzled at the plate in his team's 22-7 win over the Riverside Wolverines. The Corpus Christi center fielder blistered Riverside for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Morales was too tough to get out today," the Wolverines skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Alex Morales singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
