Fraire 6-for-6 Against Long Island Monday, September 9th , 2024 Jose Fraire was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar. After the 21-year-old Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates third baseman tallied 6 hits in 6 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 23-17 decision to the Long Island Torpedoes. "That was no fun," Fraire said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win." Jose Fraire hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Malcolm Robinson in the 9th.
