Mounties Advance to World Series Thursday, September 24th , 2026 The Moncton Mounties made it look easy and are heading to the World Series. They have ousted the Tiverton Colonels in a sweep, the final win coming by a 14-12 score, clinching the 4-0 series win. "Everything's clicking for us right now," said Marc Alexander, who was named MVP for the series. Alexander hit .467 with a .500 on-base percentage. He added 3 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Moncton Mounties will play against the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes in the next round. Ft.
