The future looks extremely bright for Paul Dankenbring. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA Rookie League.
Dankenbring has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Northern Conference Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .285 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Franklin Cubs star also put up a .377 on-base percentage this year, with 146 hits, 16 doubles, 4 triples, 64 home runs, 131 RBIs and 116 runs scored.
He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 24. Juan Conde of the Terra Linda Chargers finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Tony Bradshaw of the Franklin Cubs finished third.
