Higgins 5-for-5 Against Haviland Sunday, August 24th , 2025 Matt Higgins really sizzled at the plate in his team's 14-7 win over the Haviland Thrashers. The Jacksonville second baseman blistered Haviland for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Higgins was too tough to get out today," the Thrashers skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Matt Higgins singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Danny Flores in the 7th.
