Trujillo Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, August 18th , 2025 Jon Trujillo, right fielder for the Terra Linda Chargers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 10-5 victory over the Buffalo Bellflowers at Ballpark of Plantersville. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Jon Trujillo flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Bobby Santiago in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Trujillo has hit at a .399 clip with 50 RBIs, 11 home runs and 38 runs scored. |
