Raney on Fire: 5-for-5 for Moncton Saturday, August 2nd , 2025 It was a magical day at the plate for Moncton Mounties third baseman David Raney. The 19-year-old Raney helped lift Moncton to a win, 23-0, over the Lincoln Princes at Mapleton Yards. Raney smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club. David Raney singled in the 2nd, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Juan Rodriguez in the 7th.
