Ferman Slams 5 Hits for Franklin Monday, August 24th , 2026 Hector Ferman was at the head of a Franklin hit parade at Franklin Park. The center fielder went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Cubs to a nice 16-11 victory over the Lincoln Princes. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Ferman told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Princes skipper Jorge Vasquez said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Hector Ferman hit a two-run double in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
