Mounties Get Clutch Win Versus Whitby
Both teams had their chances, but the Moncton Mounties eventually prevailed.

Dave Reisinger was instrumental in his team's 4-3, extra-inning triumph over the Whitby Bats. The right fielder was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Moncton Mounties. Moncton reliever Chris Gabbitas snagged the win, upping his record to 5-6. Victor Martinez shouldered the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Reisinger hit a fastball from Victor Martinez for a run-scoring double. The Mounties, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Reisinger told the Moncton Daily.
