Price No-Hits Rockers
Tuesday, July 30th , 2024
Keith Price was just plain nasty on the mound, overpowering the Plymouth Rockers in a complete game no-hitter.
The right-hander used his signature fastball to perfection as the Whitby Bats waltzed to an easy 14-0 win.
"He was what the kids call 'filthy,'" losing manager Matt Seipp said later.
In a dominant performance, Price faced 31 batters in all and finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks.
"After the first couple of innings, I knew I had some good stuff going," Price said. "In the bullpen, it really wasn't that good, to be honest. But when I got out on the mound and flipped the switch, I had some pretty good stuff."
To date this season, Price has registered 8 starts, 4-2 won-lost mark, 4.91 ERA, 40.1 IP, 37 strikeouts and 17 walks. Opposing teams have hit .281 against him.
