Rams Pull Off Thrilling 5-4 Win in Extras
Borrego Springs starter Marco Montes pitched well against the Plymouth Rockers at Club Circle Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 11 innings. Borrego Springs reliever R.J. Eisen picked up the win, upping his record to 4-6. Michael Brumfield absorbed the loss. Borrego Springs is now 60-42.

Steve Combee played the role of hero for Borrego Springs. In the bottom of the 11th, he launched a solo home run off Michael Brumfield to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Combee said.
