Cubs 2B Fox Gets the Cycle Friday, July 17th , 2026 Justin Fox of the Franklin Cubs had an amazing day at the plate against the Whitby Bats. The Franklin second baseman hit for the cycle as the Cubs downed the Bats, 12-10. "I would love to say it was all skill, but I have to admit it was some luck, too," Fox said. "Everything went where it needed to go." Fox finished the day with 4 hits in 5 tries and raised his batting average a few points. He also had 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Justin Fox doubled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Kevin Harris in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This season, Fox has banged out 106 hits in 216 at-bats for a .491 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .545 pace and his totals also include 44 RBIs and 59 runs scored.
