Big Bat Pays Off, Melo Player of the Week Monday, July 1st , 2024 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Northern Conference. The award went to Alex Melo, third baseman of the Buffalo Bellflowers. He dominated league pitchers with a .630 average to win the honor. Melo went 17-for-27 for the week, totaled 5 home runs with 16 RBIs and scored 10 times. This season, Melo is batting .450 with 96 RBIs, 90 runs scored and 28 home runs. |
