Brouwer Goes 5-for-6 Sunday, June 30th , 2024 All game long, Franklin's Teo Brouwer was rattling the walls at Centerville Grounds and banging out base hits against the Long Island Torpedoes. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Cubs had a win, 13-12. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 19-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Teo Brouwer singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Danny Guerrero in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jesus Perez in the 9th.
