Wolverines Move on to League Championship Series Wednesday, September 16th , 2020 The dream of raising a championship banner in Riverside took a big step forward today. The Riverside Wolverines have won the Division Series, eliminating the Jacksonville Nationals to advance to the League Championship Series. Riverside won the final game 12-6 and the series 4-2. Ryan Patterson was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .294 with a .480 on-base percentage. He drove in 9 RBI, had 3 home runs and scored 3 runs. The Riverside Wolverines will play against the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes in the next round. Ft. Wayne won their series against the Chuluota Imperials 4 games to 1.
