5-for-6 Game for Neubaum Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 The San Antonio Griffins stopped the Crystal Lake Killers by a score of 7-6 at Griffins Field, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Adam Neubaum. The 18-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Neubaum said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Neubaum did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Killers. "Not much that I can say," offered Crystal Lake manager Josh Lewis. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
