Buffalo's Vivas to Miss Season
Wednesday, July 1st , 2026
Jonathan Vivas will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Buffalo starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Vivas was injured while throwing a pitch in the Bellflowers-Princes clash at Wegman's Field recently. Doctors said he has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 6-7 months.
To date, Vivas has a 0-3 mark in 6 starts with a 6.45 ERA. He has given up 32 hits in 22.1 innings, struck out 21 and issued 12 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .323 batting average against him.
