He easily handled Raptors pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Thrashers triumph, 14-2, at Ballpark of Picture Rocks. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Sverdloff's quip, Raptors skipper Matt Walker said he "would take him up on that next time." Keith Sverdloff walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
