Encinas Will Sit Out 3 Games, Suspended by League Friday, August 18th , 2023 Bellflowers right fielder Antonio Encinas was incensed after being suspended for 3 games by the commissioner's office following a heated argument the day before in the Buffalo-Franklin game at Wegman's Field. He was thrown out of the game for arguing a strike call. The league office cited Encinas for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," which included throwing his hat at the umpire several times. A look at his season totals shows Encinas with 12 home runs, .217 BA, .275 OBP, 23 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
