Brian Underwood Top NC Hurler Monday, October 18th , 2021 Moriarty ace Brian Underwood put up some sensational stats for the 2021 season and has been voted the Northern Conference Pitcher of the Year Award winner. The 22-year-old Suns star made 29 starts and racked up a 18-1 record. He pitched 207.2 innings, collected 154 strikeouts, gave up 41 walks and 150 hits in holding the opposition to a .200 batting average. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ricardo Alvarado of the Moriarty Suns finished second in voting, while Rob Stech of the Terra Linda Chargers finished third.
