Ugly Incident Ends in 2-Game Suspension
Thursday, July 17th , 2025
The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Carlos Paramo of the Colonels has been given a 2-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at Wegman's Field with the Buffalo Bellflowers.
Paramo said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today.
Currently Paramo is batting .294 with 1 home run and 26 RBIs.
