Tinoco Batters Franklin Big Time Thursday, July 17th , 2025 Whitby center fielder Arturo Tinoco had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Franklin Cubs at Franklin Park as the Bats picked up a win, 18-11. "He was patient up there," Whitby skipper Mike Boyd told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Tinoco has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Arturo Tinoco grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
