Bellflowers Advance to League Championship Series Thursday, September 19th , 2019 It took a while, but the Buffalo Bellflowers finally disposed of the Franklin Cubs 5-4 in the series clincher at Wegman's Field. Winning the finale gave the Bellflowers the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the League Championship Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Buffalo third baseman Eric Hicks. He batted .304 in the series, collecting 3 RBIs and scoring 4 runs. The Buffalo Bellflowers will play against the Whitby Bats in the next round. Whitby won their series against the Terra Linda Chargers 4 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
