Bats Win Division Series Wednesday, September 18th , 2019 By a score of 3-2, the Whitby Bats have sealed a victory in the Division Series over the Terra Linda Chargers. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said right fielder Juan Garza of the Bats, who was named the series MVP. "The Chargers knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Whitby will come in the League Championship Series, after winning this series 4-2. The Whitby Bats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Franklin Cubs - Buffalo Bellflowers series. Buffalo leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
