Buffalo Snaps Raney Streak at 39 Thursday, June 19th , 2025 Moncton defeated Buffalo, 10-8, at Wegman's Field, but saw the 39-game hitting streak of Mounties third baseman David Raney snapped -- the Bellflowers held Raney hitless in 4 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," he said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the win today. That's all that really counts." This season, Raney is batting .454 with 75 RBIs, 66 runs scored and 24 home runs. |
