Medina Torches Panthers for 5 Hits Sunday, June 21st , 2026 It was a high-five day for Alberto Medina, at least for a while. The Chuluota second baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Buckeye Local Panthers, but they were in short supply at the end, as Buckeye Local won the game, 14-12. Medina finished with an impressive 5-for-6 line, but the Imperials couldn't hold off the Panthers. "Alberto was hitting everything," said Imperials manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Alberto Medina tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
