Buckeye Local Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
Justin Kelley was a major contributor to the 8-3 Chuluota win over Buckeye Local. The Imperials right fielder went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Chuluota reliever Juan Rodriguez, now 6-2. The loser was Alex Guzman. The losses continue to mount for Buckeye Local, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Mike Gelardi had a big 3-run home run for the Imperials in the bottom of the third inning. With Chuluota leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Alex Guzman and punished it. The result was his 28th home run of the season, which put the Imperials on top, 4-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Kelley told the Chuluota Today.
