Medina Hits for the Cycle Sunday, June 21st , 2026 Alberto Medina was hard to stop but his Chuluota Imperials were not. The Buckeye Local Panthers overcame a cycle by Medina to win, 14-12, against the Imperials at Cincinnati Grounds. "It feels good for me, but it would have felt even better if we had won that ballgame," Medina told the press corps. "I still enjoy it, but I would've liked to win the game, too." He cracked 5 hits in 6 at-bats, had 1 run batted in and 3 runs scored. Although his team lost, the Imperials second baseman will still get his place in the record books. Alberto Medina tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
