Baker Goes 6-for-6 Against Corpus Christi Sunday, May 12th , 2024 It was a magical day at the plate for Jacksonville Nationals right fielder Chris Baker. The 20-year-old Baker helped lift Jacksonville to a win, 14-13, over the Corpus Christi Texans at Nationals Park. Baker smacked 6 hits in 6 at-bats to spark his club. Chris Baker singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jo Uehara in the 9th.
