The Juneau Sled Dogs defeated the Chuluota Imperials, 6-5, at Imperials Ballpark. Juneau designated hitter Ben Towne had a superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The victory puts Juneau at 13-19.

Juneau took a 6-5 lead on Towne's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Jose Vasquez in the top of the eighth, propelled Juneau to the win.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Towne.
