Imperials Smith Smacks 5 Hits Sunday, June 8th , 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Jeremy Smith -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Killer Stadium and paced the 16-12 Imperials win over the Crystal Lake Killers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Chuluota second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Jeremy Smith hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Danny Montoya in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
