The San Bernardino Flight did just enough to sneak past the Buckeye Local Panthers, 5-4, at Ballpark of San Bernardino. San Bernardino pitcher Pat Higginbotham, in particular, had a standout performance. San Bernardino reliever Danny Ayala picked up the win, upping his record to 5-3. Jim Unknown absorbed the loss. The Panthers, at 21-37, have lost 4 straight games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when San Bernardino right fielder Justin McCoy, facing Jim Unknown, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Flight the 5-4 win.
