Great Day for Kenyon -- 5 Hits Saturday, August 14th , 2021 Today at Reagor Dykes Stadium, the Abingdon Archers topped the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates in spite of a standout batting performance by second baseman Jon Kenyon. Kenyon had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking Abingdon pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't do enough for a win. Abingdon whipped Saint Pierre and Miquelon by the score of 11-9. Jon Kenyon singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 10th. So far this season, Kenyon is batting .328 with 43 home runs, 99 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He has 115 hits in 351 at-bats, 32 walks and a .393 OBP. Kenyon has played in 100 games.
