Brown Slams 3 Deep for Terra Linda

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Plantersville buzzing, Terra Linda Chargers second baseman Rich Brown blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 7-3, over the Buffalo Bellflowers.
"Everything was clicking," Brown told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Brown shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Chargers manager Carlos Acevedo said. "Rich played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Rich Brown hit a solo-shot off David Hernandez in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off David Hernandez in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Chris Neff in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
In his season totals, Brown has 18 home runs, .286 BA, .356 OBP, 38 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played in 57 games.
