Bellflowers Roper Booms 3 HRs Monday, July 29th , 2019 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Spinners Ballpark buzzing, Buffalo Bellflowers third baseman Regis Roper blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 10-2 win over the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates. "Everything was clicking," Roper told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Roper shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Bellflowers manager Andy Perez said. "Regis played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Regis Roper hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. Thus far this year Roper is batting .270 with 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
