Herendeen Goes Cycling

Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at Cincinnati Grounds. Caleb Herendeen of the Tulsa Captains accomplished the feat against Buckeye Local Panthers.
Herendeen went 4-for-5 with 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run in the 8-6 Tulsa victory.
"That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Herendeen said after the game.
Herendeen also scored 3 runs and had 6 RBI in a day to remember for both Herendeen and the crowd at Cincinnati Grounds.
Caleb Herendeen grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Juan Gastelo in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run triple in the 8th.
Thus far this season, Herendeen has hit .274 with 6 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 11 times.
